HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
  How Do I Participate ?  

Friends of Ghana, Africans on the continent and in the Diaspora, tourists, investors, Ghanaians abroad, Heads of State and governments, and indeed, the world is invited and welcome to visit Ghana and have a taste of our proverbial hospitality and share in our joys as we reflect on our past and look forward to where we would like to be in the next 50 years toward our centenary birthday.

Assistance in cash and in kind will be accepted from individuals, businesses and the international community at large. This includes: Ghanaians at home and abroad, Visitors, tourists and friends of Ghana and corporate bodies.
 
The structure of sponsorship established comprises of five corporate (5) classes using the national emblem and the colours of the national flag as descriptors and one individual or entity class – the Jubilee Class. Participating in this unique opportunity to sponsor the Golden Jubilee celebration will provide tremendous tangible and intangible benefits to sponsoring organizations and individuals. The specific categories in relation to the targets sponsors, amounts, incentives and benefits to sponsors are as follows:

Twin Eagles:

Minimum contribution of ¢10 Billion

Black Star:
Minimum contribution of ¢2 Billion
Red Flame:

Minimum contribution of ¢1 Billion

Gold Dust:

Minimum contribution of ¢500 Million

Lush Green:

Minimum contribution of ¢100 Million

Jubilee Class:

Contributions of any amount below ¢100 million

On March 6, 1957, Ghana became the first country in Africa south of the Sahara to gain independence from colonial rule. 2007, marks 50 years of independence.
